As a way of rewarding more students who were ‘doing the right thing’ we launched our Golden Ticket Bonus Weeks in the run up to Christmas. Golden tickets are awarded to students by any member of staff for demonstrating our school values of Ambition, Teamwork, Honesty, or Respect or any of our employability standards. Once awarded students write their name on the back of the ticket which are then entered into a draw. Following feedback to students for these Bonus Weeks we decided the rewards would be £10 vouchers, the number of which would depend on the total number of slips awarded with 2000 tickets leading to 7 £10 vouchers. In the end the response has been so positive that we ended up awarding 16 vouchers in the draw that took place at lunchtime today.
