In addition to our fundraising in school for the Samaritans and local food banks, a group of our Y11 students have decided to write Christmas Cards with personal, messages for the homeless and less privileged at what for many is a difficult time of year. The messages were forwarded through the local, Ripley Branch of the Salvation Army to a local meals on wheels service. So impressed were they with the thoughtfulness of our students we understand that they have shared the details with Radio Derby and the local papers… watch this space!!
