On Wednesday 4th December, The Two Counties Trust held its annual careers fair which this year was hosted at The Manor Academy. Students from across the 9 schools in Two Counties Trust, including almost all the students from Y11 at Selston High School, were transported to the event the focal point of which was to connect students with over 70 employers and education providers, aiming to provide them with a glimpse into their potential future pathways.
A diverse array of employers attended the event, representing a broad spectrum of industries. with students having a unique opportunity to interact and gain insights into various career options.
In addition to employers, education providers played a crucial role in guiding the students. Representatives from local universities and post-16 colleges were present to offer valuable information about the options for their next chapter.
On behalf of our students who greatly valued the opportunities offered today we would like to thank the providers whose employees helped make today such a great success.
