It was a case of ‘au revoir’ to Selston and ‘bonjour Paris’ for a group of 44 excited pupils who took part in this year’s school visit to Paris.
The visit organised by the school’s Modern Foreign Language department allowed students to put their language skills into practise and soak up some French culture.
To kick things off in style, the group travelled by luxury coach to the Port of Dover before boarding a ferry and sailing to Calais en route to their hotel in Paris.
During the 5-day visit students climbed The iconic Eiffel Tower, took a boat ride along the river Seine had a guided tour of Stade de France as well as visiting Montmartre and the Sacre CœurA The finale on Friday was a full day in Disneyland Paris with access to both Parks
The five-day adventure was hailed by staff and students as “absolutely brilliant” and “an amazing experience” one that they will certainly remember for a long time to come!
