Attendance Matters – Thank you for your support!

Thank you for your support in ensuring your child attends school every day. We are pleased that everyone’s efforts to maximise attendance at Selston High School have been recognised this week by FFT. FFT is a not-for-profit organisation providing education data, literacy programmes and research to schools, local authorities and government whose analysis of last year’s attendance figures across the country has placed us in the top 10% of most improved schools. In addition to improving students’ grades, a strong attendance record helps students build friendships, confidence, work habits, and social skills, and as a school we will continue to prioritise raising attendance to improve our students’ life chances.
