Year 7 were praised this week for their interest and engagement in a session presented by The Performance In Education (PIE) team on road safety. The team supported by Via and Nottinghamshire County Council used Drama and multimedia to reinforce the work we have done in school on being ‘Streetwise’ – crossing and using our roads safely. After the performance students took part in a discussion which highlighted amongst other points the dangers of distractions like using mobile phones whilst crossing roads.
